LOCAL BROKERS HURLEY AND HOFFMAN ANNOUNCE NEW FRANCHISE AFFILIATION
Tallahassee, Fla., August 15, 2011—Patrick E. Hurley and Angela I. Hoffman, partners in ownership of H2 Real Estate Group, LLC have announced that the Tallahassee company is now an independently owned and operated franchise with Weichert Real Estate Affiliates (WREA). The sign at 1684 Metropolitan Circle now reads WEICHERT, REALTORS® – The H2 Group. “The people and the focus on a high level of customer service are the same, except that we now have even more to offer” said Hurley, who is the agency’s Broker in Charge.
Hoffman said that “the biggest reason we chose to affiliate with Weichert is the growth potential for each of our agents and the company alike.” She also cited the Weichert® organization’s ongoing training for agents and management and its lead network as “huge” among the attractions to the franchise.
The Weichert franchise network, launched in 2002, currently includes affiliates in key markets in 36 states, offering one-stop shopping, relocation outreach, top Internet presence, “live” and online training and leads direct to agents. Together with company-owned offices, approximately 18,000 Weichert® agents are at work from coast-to-coast. The parent company, Weichert, Realtors®, is one of the nation’s largest privately owned providers of real estate and home ownership services. Of particular interest in the franchise arena, the partners noted, is that Weichert is run by Realtors. From founder Jim Weichert to Weichert Affiliates President Martin J. Rueter and his management staff, the team is made up of people who have been in the field as Realtors, Brokers, office owners, managers and sales people who were rooted or reared in real estate.
A Tallahassee native, Patrick E. Hurley returned home in 2003, bringing with him degrees in both marketing and business administration from Stetson University, and began his real estate career working with a small, locally owned real estate group. After making the decision to focus on real estate sales, he spent six strong years with major franchises and worked hard to rise to the top. In 2010, the decision was made to go independent, and Hurley (now with his Brokers license) and Hoffman formed H2 Real Estate Group.
Angela Hoffman moved to Florida from Sicily, Italy, as a child. She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Florida A&M University and worked as designer and project manager of commercial and residential projects for 13 years. “My interest in real estate flourished as I watched and took part in the growth and development of this beautiful city.” In 2004, she entered real estate sales and, like her partner, made a rapid climb to the top of her field. Hoffman joined the same company as Hurley, where they met and made the move which has resulted in today’s Weichert affiliation.
An ambitious recruiting campaign will be launched soon at the Tallahassee office. Meanwhile, Hurley, Hoffman and the staff and sales team at WEICHERT, REALTORS® – The H2 Group can be reached at 850-201-8880.
